To use this template you will need to supply three variables:

• dow = Day of the week in the format Seg, Ter, Qua, Qui, Sex, Sab, Dom
• cabeçalho = The wikitext which should appear at the top of the calendar, such as

  <div style="text-align=center;"><small>[[dezembro|<dezembro]]</small> [[janeiro]] <small>[[fevereiro|fevereiro>]]</small></div>

• rodapé = The wikitext which should appear at the bottom of the calendar, such as

  <div style="text-align=center;"><small>[[Wikinews:2004|2004]]</small> [[Wikinews:2005|2005]] <small>[[Wikinews:2006|2006]]</small></div>
