Olá, pessoal. Meu nome é Lucas Teles e, antes de tudo, quero me apresentar como [[:m:Strategy/Wikimedia movement/2018-20/People/Strategy Liaisons|Strategy Liaison]] da comunidade em língua portuguesa para o Processo Estratégico que definirá mudanças nos projetos da Wikimedia a serem aplicadas até 2030. Isso quer dizer que servirei de ''ponte'' entre os usuários de língua portuguesa e a organização central do [[:m:Strategy/Wikimedia movement/2018-20|Movimento Estratégico global]] em andamento. Basicamente, minha função será:

* Criar a discussão e permitir que os membros da comunidade discutam sobre os pontos estratégicos
* Garantir que a discussão aconteça de forma produtiva
* Tirar dúvidas sobre a estratégia e garantir que as questões sejam bem compreendidas
* Levar à organização central do Movimento Estratégico as opiniões das diferentes comunidades em língua portuguesa

Como alguns já sabem, a comunidade global da Wikimedia está em processo de desenvolvimento de estratégias sobre como melhorar nosso impacto nos diferentes países do globo. A meta é ambiciosa; em 2030, a ideia é que sejamos a infra-estrutura essencial para o ecossistema do conhecimento livre. Cada um que está lendo isso, terá a oportunidade de participar das discussões e influenciar diretamente sobre como os projetos da Wikimedia poderão atender melhor às necessidades de seus usuários. Ressalto, portanto, a relevância de sua contribuição para esse processo, que modificará o modo de atuação de uma das instituições mais influentes do mundo.

Ao longo deste ano, conversaremos sobre o processo estratégico e, juntos, poderemos coletar as opiniões desta comunidade sobre as questões levantadas nas etapas iniciais do processo. Esta minha primeira intervenção não tem, necessariamente, a intenção de criar uma discussão profunda sobre o assunto neste espaço. Ainda assim, sinta-se à vontade para falar sobre quaisquer pontos do processo e aprofundar nos temas de acordo com seu interesse. Em breve, acontecerá o [[:m:Wikimedia Summit 2019|Wikimedia Summit]], do qual participarão membros do Core Team do processo estratégico. Caso tenhamos pontos relevantes provenientes desta discussão a tempo, posso encaminhá-los para que sejam discutidos no evento.

Com base no trabalho de etapas anteriores ao processo atual, as questões a serem discutidas foram [[:m:Strategy/Wikimedia movement/2018-20/Participate|divididas em nove temas]]. Cada tema possui questões a serem abordadas em nossas discussões. Elas servirão para fomentar o debate sobre os pontos relevantes a serem decididos por esta e outras comunidades.

Olá, gostaria de lembrar aos administradores locais eleitos e aos que forem se eleger que o estatuto de administrador não serve só para ficar protegendo páginas e removendo estatutos (que não têm relevância) de usuários inativos.

Existem muitas coisas aqui que precisam ser atualizadas, tais como uma reforma completa na página principal, pois a mesma foi atualizada e parece-me que nenhum usuário foi conferir se ela funciona em celulares (e não, não funciona), há várias predefinições e templates do mediawiki que ainda estão usando formatação html antiga e precisam ser atualizadas. Nem mesmo o arquivo da redação está sendo realizado, há msgs de 2018 ainda aqui... Entre outras coisas...

Seria muito bom se os administradores dessem mais atenção ao que é prioridade ao invés de se dedicar apenas ao mínimo que é bem irrelevante, tal como a proteção das notícias antigas.
